Honda CB650R

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda has made the 650 standard and sport motorcycles since 2013, a range of inline four motorcycles of 649 cc, including the CB650F standard or naked bike and the CBR650F sport bike, which replaced the outgoing CB600F Hornet. The motorcycles have a new twin-spar steel chassis and a new inline-four engine with a longer stroke increasing the displacement to 650 cc, with optional ABS and a variant restricted below the 35 kW limit for the European A2 license. In November 2018 at EICMA Honda announced the CB650R naked bike with Neo Sports Cafe styling, and the CBR650R sport bike. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 5 generations: the CB650F and CBR650F, RC74 (2014 to 2016 model years); the CB650F and CBR650F, RC96 (2017 to 2018 model years); the CB650R and CBR650R, RH01 (2019 to 2020 model years); the CB650R and CBR650R, RH03 (2021 to 2023 model years); the CB650R and CBR650R, RH17 (2024 model year onward). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
