The Honda C92 Benly went into production in 1959, a 125 cc parallel-twin motorcycle named from the Japanese word benri, meaning convenient. It had a four stroke engine, a straight or parallel twin, with two valves per cylinder driven by an overhead camshaft on a chain, a compression ratio of 8.3 to 1, a four speed gearbox and chain final drive, fully enclosed. The CB92 super sports model had briefer aluminium mudguards, a larger tank and higher compression pistons of 10 to 1.
