Japan kept the CB750 until 2008, when the 2007 automobile exhaust gas regulations took effect and ended production of the RC42. The CBR600F3 based Honda Hornet CB600F and later both the CB650F and NC700 series eventually took over the role of Honda's middleweight standard bike in Europe and North America. This page belongs to the Honda CB750 (Nighthawk and later), 1984 to 2008 model years; the generation page and the Honda CB750 model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
