Honda Racing Corporation created the RVF750R RC45, a fully faired racing motorcycle, to homologate it for the Superbike World Championship. It was the successor to the VFR750R RC30 and, like its predecessor, featured a DOHC liquid-cooled V4 four-stroke engine with gear-driven cams and a single-sided swingarm, but it utilized electronic fuel injection in a setup very similar to the production 1992 NR750. Honda built it from 1994 until 1995 in limited numbers, with the United States receiving the model in its first year only, and the VTR1000R SP-1 RC51 followed in 2000. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the RVF750R (1994 to 1995 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
