Honda built approximately 300 road versions of a 750 cc model in 1992, the NR, often called the NR750, with a V angle of 90 degrees. The NR500 had an oval piston with straight sides, but the NR750 for the road had an elliptical piston with long sides that curve. It became the most expensive production bike at the time, selling for 50,000 dollars, and developed approximately 130 PS at 14,000 rpm in standard form.
