Honda began selling the first model of the CBR600F in 1987, and the US knows it as the Hurricane. In Austria and Mexico a smaller version, called the CBR500F, was offered. The original CBR600F was, along with the CBR750F and CBR1000F, one of Honda's first inline four-cylinder, fully faired sport bikes. The sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 1987 model year, so this page claims none.
