At the New York International Motorcycle Show in January 2009 Honda unveiled the Fury VT1300CX, and the first deliveries came that May, for the 2010 model year. It had an updated VTX1300 powertrain, with PGM-FI fuel injection through a single 38 mm throttle body in place of the 38 mm CV carburetor, a five speed transmission and shaft drive inside an aluminum swingarm. Motorcycle Cruiser magazine named it the 2010 Cruiser of the Year, and in April 2010 Honda released three sister bikes, the VT1300CS Sabre, VT1300CR Stateline and VT1300CT Interstate.
