1996 Honda Transalp

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

New carburetors of 34 mm came on the XL600V Transalp in 1996, and a design driven by a microprocessor took the place of the CDI ignition system. The front brake was modified the following year, in 1997, with a second disc and a reduced diameter of 256 mm. The sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 1996 model year, so this page claims none. This page belongs to the Honda Transalp (XL600V), 1987 to 1999 model years; the generation page and the Honda Transalp model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
