Road Mode

Transport modes that move people or goods over roads and streets under a vehicle's own wheeled contact with the surface, from private cars and freight trucks to buses and taxis. Belongs here: any wheeled mode of transport that travels on ordinary paved or unpaved roads shared with other traffic, whether privately owned or operated as a public or commercial service. Does not belong here: rail-guided vehicles such as trams, which run in the street but are grouped under Rail Mode, or human- and animal-powered road transport, grouped separately.
