The Fitchburg Railroad was a railroad company that built a line across northern Massachusetts leading to and through the Hoosac Tunnel. It was leased to the Boston and Maine Railroad in 1900. The Boston to Fitchburg main line is now operated as the MBTA Fitchburg Line, with Pan Am Railways running freight service on other portions.
