Canadian National Railway

The Canadian National Railway Company, known by its reporting mark CN and in French as Compagnie des chemins de fer nationaux du Canada, is a Canadian Class I freight railway headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. It serves Canada and the Midwestern and Southern United States, running across the country from the Atlantic coast in Nova Scotia to the Pacific coast in British Columbia. It is one of Canada's two main freight rail companies, alongside Canadian Pacific Kansas City. The company was incorporated in 1919 and began as a government-owned Crown corporation before later privatization.
