The GE 65-ton switcher is a diesel-electric locomotive built by General Electric with a B-B wheel arrangement, offered with models producing 400 to 550 horsepower. It is an upgraded version of the GE 44-ton, with a heavier frame and a more powerful diesel engine, and it was one of the small industrial and railroad yard switchers that General Electric sold alongside its larger road locomotives. An operational example, Diesel Loco number 1943, is kept running at the White Mountain Central Railroad.
