The ALCO Century 430, known as the C430, was a four-axle diesel-electric locomotive rated at 3,000 horsepower in the American Locomotive Company's Century line. It was an upgraded version of the C425, powered by a 16-cylinder ALCO 251 engine, and only 16 were built between July 1966 and February 1968. Since 1992 five have remained in existence. Green Bay and Western 315 is preserved at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and three former New York Central units, now Western New York and Pennsylvania 430, 431 and 432, were acquired in 2025 by the Adirondack Railway Preservation Society and operate on the Adirondack Railroad.
