The SNCF Class Z 11500 is a model of electric multiple unit train that was built by Alsthom in 1986 and 1987. They are in service with TER Grand Est. These trains are similar to the CFL Class 2000 of the Luxembourg railways: CFL selected a variant of the Z 11500 for its network, and its Class 2000 units were built in 1990 to 1992 by a consortium of De Dietrich, ANF and Alstom. The Z2 family of multiple units, to which the Z 11500 is related, was designed by Francorail and the Ateliers de construction du Nord de la France.
