The KTM Class 93 is a type of electric multiple unit used by Keretapi Tanah Melayu for its intercity Electric Train Service, known as ETS. Ten six-car sets were built and delivered by CRRC Zhuzhou, initially CSR Zhuzhou, of China, and nine more, branded ETS2 or Class 93/2, were ordered in 2019 and delivered by 2020, partly assembled in Batu Gajah, Malaysia under a technology exchange agreement. It runs on the electrified West Coast Line from JB Sentral to Padang Besar and covers Kuala Lumpur to Padang Besar within four hours and fifteen minutes. A streamlined sloped head earned it the nicknames Malaysian Bullet Train and Pocket Rocket, and its lightweight aluminium body is built for high-speed metre gauge running, with acceleration from 0 to 160 km/h in two minutes. The first four sets went into service on 10 October 2015 between Padang Besar and Gemas.
