The British Rail Class 168 Clubman is a British diesel-hydraulic multiple unit passenger train used on Chiltern Main Line services between London Marylebone and the West Midlands. Adtranz built the units at Derby Litchurch Lane Works in several batches from 1998, and the first batch, classified 168/0 under TOPS, resembled the Class 165 units built earlier by BREL York, with a Networker-style cab that was an interim solution. The later 168/1 and 168/2 builds share the Class 170 Turbostar design and belong to the Turbostar group, and nine Class 170 units from First TransPennine Express were converted for Chiltern as Class 168/3. Chiltern announced a refurbishment of the whole fleet in 2023 at a cost of 10.7 million pounds, with new seating, wi-fi and a revised livery, and one unit, 168329, was briefly converted to a diesel-battery hybrid in 2021 and 2022.
