The Alstom Metropolis C851E (Circle Line) is the third generation of electric multiple unit on the Circle Line of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit system, built by Alstom under Contract 851E. Twenty-three three-car trains were made at Alstom's Barcelona factory and shipped to Singapore from 2022, alongside six six-car trains for the North East Line. Alstom was the only bidder, and the Land Transport Authority awarded the contract of about 250 million Singapore dollars on 30 April 2018. The first train entered passenger service on 13 April 2026, ahead of the Circle Line extension to Marina Bay that opened on 12 July 2026. The trains are fully automated, draw 750 V DC from a third rail and run as a Mc1, T, Mc2 formation.
