Avelia Euroduplex, commonly known as Euroduplex or TGV 2N2 in France, is a high-speed double-decker train manufactured by Alstom and operated primarily by the French national railway company SNCF, and also by the Moroccan national railway company ONCF. It is the third generation of the TGV Duplex and a tricurrent evolution of the TGV Duplex Dasye, interoperable between several European continental countries with various types of electrification and signalling systems, using SNCF TGV POS asynchronous traction motors and the European Rail Traffic Management System. Improvements include a UIC loading gauge with more headroom upstairs, improved windows, a passenger information system with voice announcements, better wheelchair accessibility and, on the 3UFC type, new interiors with rotating first class seats and USB sockets. It entered commercial operation with SNCF on 11 December 2011 after a June 2007 order for 55 tricurrent trains, and the Moroccan variation is the first high-speed train to operate in Africa.
