The SNCF Class BB 37000, also marketed as Prima, is a class of electric locomotives built by Alstom, the triple voltage version of the Class BB 27000. Sixty locomotives numbered 37001 to 37060 were ordered by Fret SNCF for international freight traffic, making it the version of the Prima family meant for crossing borders under several electrical systems. The article describes them as currently being built when it was written, so the class was still in delivery at that time. Locomotive 37007 was destroyed in the Zoufftgen train accident on 11 October 2006, and locomotive 37039 carries a name.
