The China Railways 8K is a French-built electric locomotive used in China, developed and built by Alstom on the design of the SNCF Class BB 15000. It is a heavy freight electric locomotive with a Bo'Bo'+Bo'Bo' wheel arrangement, made of two four-axle locomotives connected together. Retirement took place between 2010 and 2015 because of an increasingly serious lack of spare parts. Several have been preserved: 8K-001 at Fengtai Locomotive Depot in Beijing, 8K-008 at the China Railway Museum, 8K-065 at a Tianjin railway technical college and 8K-091 at Taiyuan Locomotive Depot.
