All First World War Trainers and Postwar Civil Biplanes

Two seat biplanes that taught a generation of military pilots to fly during the First World War and then passed into civil hands as surplus, where they carried passengers and mail and entertained crowds on barnstorming tours. An entry belongs here when the cited article calls the aircraft a military trainer of the First World War era that later served in civil flying. It excludes pioneer era aeroplanes built before the war, wartime fighters and bombers, and the airliners of the 1920s. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
