Kawasaki Vulcan

The Kawasaki Vulcan is a line of cruiser motorcycles built by the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki, introduced in the mid-1980s with a V-twin engine and styling modeled on the classic American cruiser layout long dominated by Harley-Davidson. Produced in a range of displacements from smaller commuter-oriented models up to large-displacement flagship versions, the line built Kawasaki a durable presence in the cruiser segment of the motorcycle market, a category historically associated most closely with American manufacturers and other Japanese makers' own competing cruiser lines. The Vulcan name has remained in continuous use across multiple engine generations and body styles, including touring-oriented variants fitted with saddlebags and windscreens for long-distance highway riding.
