Honda NL125

The Honda NL125 is a three-wheeler called a Motokar, produced by Honda Selva del Peru S.A., the Peruvian two-wheeler production subsidiary of Honda Motor Co. Honda del Peru, its local company in Peru, has produced the Motokar since 1980. In 2017 the NL125 and its sister model NL150 together reached about 18,500 units a year, more than the subsidiary's annual motorcycle output that year, and in the first quarter of 2022 the Motokar line accounted for a quarter of the Peruvian two-wheeler market. It is used mainly as a shared passenger vehicle. The NL125 combines a CG125 (WH125) rear section imported from Honda's joint venture in China with a cabin developed and made in Peru, and was improved in 2015 and 2017. It has a 124.10 cc four-stroke OHV engine with a carburettor and CDI ignition, a five-speed transmission, chain drive, 18-inch wire-spoke wheels and drum brakes, and it is also sold in Argentina, Brazil and Panama.
