The Suzuki GSX-S1000 is a standard motorcycle made by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki. It debuted in Japan in 2015 and shares its engine with the GSX-R1000, detuned, remapped and restricted to lower revs for commuting, fuel efficiency and cruising. A faired version, the GSX-S1000GT, previously called the GSX-S1000F, puts more emphasis on sport touring and rivals sports tourers derived from liter-class nakeds such as the Kawasaki Ninja 1000. Suzuki updated it in 2017, raising power to 150 bhp and torque to 79.6 lbf ft at 9,500 rpm and fitting a slipper clutch, and again for 2021 in Europe and 2022 elsewhere, with 152 PS, a fighter-jet-like vertical headlight design and a 19 litre fuel tank.
