The Suzuki GN250 is a 250 cc standard motorcycle that Suzuki has made since 1982, with a four valve, single cylinder, air cooled SOHC four stroke engine. It is a cruiser like, street oriented machine and a popular learner bike. Its smaller cousin, the GN125, has a 125 cc engine and is still built in Colombia and possibly other regions, and a GN400 was sold in the United Kingdom between 1982 and 1984 and unusually used a six volt electrical system. The GN250 has a speedometer, an odometer with trip, high beam and turn indicators and a gear position indicator, and later versions shut the engine off automatically if the bike is put into gear with the side stand down. The GZ250 is a more cruiser oriented version with the same drivetrain, and the TU250 is a modern evolution with fuel injection and different styling. Dry weight is 128 kg.
