Honda X11

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The Honda X11, also called the CB1100SF, is a standard motorcycle that Honda produced with a 1,137 cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine and a radiator shroud that adds downforce, increasing cooling capacity and stability at high speed. It is based on the CBR1100XX Super Blackbird but was designed as a performance naked motorcycle rather than a supersports-tourer, so its fuelling map was changed to cut peak power by 12 bhp to 140 bhp and raise midrange torque for a flat curve. It has a five-speed gearbox, a modified centre-pivot frame that flexes slightly for rider feedback, a revised linked braking system that engages less rear brake, a single balancer shaft, rubber-mounted clip-ons and single-section footpeg feelers for greater lean angles.
