Honda FX 650 Vigor

The Honda FX 650 Vigor is a road and urban motorcycle in the Honda FX family, built from 1998 to 2001. The FX models are direct descendants of the Honda NX 650 Dominator: they have a different frame, and the engine, though based on the same design, is tuned differently. When Dominator production stopped the SLR 650 followed, and after some styling retouches and comfort improvements such as a new seat and rev counter the Vigor FX 650 was produced from 1998 until 2001, when it disappeared from the catalogue. It had limited success in France. The single-cylinder engine displaces 644 cc and develops about 40 hp, with a 34 hp version also sold, fed by a 42.5 mm Keihin carburettor. Braking is by Brembo with a 276 mm front disc and twin-piston floating caliper and a 220 mm rear disc, and the engine oil circulates in the single-cradle frame. It is a motorcycle and is distinct from the Honda Vigor sedan.
