Honda CBF600

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The Honda CBF600 is a middleweight motorcycle that Honda made until 2013, in two models: the CBF600N, the naked version, and the CBF600S, the half-faired one, which differ only in the front fairing and headlamp block. The first generation, 2004 to 2007, code PC38, was Honda's answer to the fact that the older CB500 no longer met European emission standards; it was built on the existing Hornet engine with a look meant to inspire a sense of safety and to appeal to returning riders, new riders or women, with ABS optional, a three-position seat and a two-position windscreen. The second generation, 2007 to 2013, code PC43, met Euro 3 from 2008 with a detuned version of the 2007 CBR600RR engine with fuel injection, cutting consumption from 5 to 7 litres per 100 km to 4 to 5.
