The Honda CB223S was a retro-styled naked motorcycle in Honda's CB series, built and sold by Honda Motor Co. from 2008 to 2016. It was developed around the keywords of light weight, compact size and nimble handling, with the aim of making life with a motorcycle easier to enjoy. In practice it was a sister model of the FTR223 and shared parts such as the wheels with it. It carried the air-cooled four-stroke two-valve SOHC single-cylinder MD33E engine that was originally developed for the SL230, while Honda changed the frame rigidity and suspension settings and fitted on-road tyres for this model. It was shown at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show as a planned production model, announced in March 2008 and put on sale in April 2008, and Honda announced the end of production in 2016.
