The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is a 249 cc sport bike in the Ninja series that Kawasaki has sold since 2020. Its defining feature is a very small displacement with a multi-cylinder layout: a 249 cc in-line four with DOHC and 16 valves, multipoint electronic injection, about 50 horsepower and a rev limit near 17,000 rpm, rising to 51 horsepower with the help of an air box. It is built in Indonesia and Thailand as the successor to the Ninja ZX-2R and ZXR250 of 1988 to 2004, was first shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2019 and reached the Asian market on 10 July 2020. The 2023 update added a 4.3 inch TFT display, front fork preload adjustment and smartphone connectivity, and an RR variant differs by its Showa BFRC Lite rear shock.
