BMW C evolution

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The BMW C evolution is an electric scooter produced by BMW Motorrad. Development began with the BMW E-Scooter concept vehicle in 2011, followed by the Concept e design study, and the third stage was the C evolution, a near-series prototype of which a small series was built in 2012, with five made available to the press during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In September 2013 BMW announced series production for spring 2014, and in April 2014 production began at ten scooters a day. At the 2016 Paris Motor Show BMW presented the C Evolution Long Range, with new 94 Ah battery cells instead of 60 Ah, a stated range of up to 160 km and a continuous motor output raised to 19 kW. It shares battery technology with the i3, its air-cooled batteries drive an almost noiseless scooter with Road, Dynamic, Sail and Eco Pro modes, and the CE 04 succeeded it in July 2021.
