The Suzuki V-Strom 650, known by its model code DL650 and nicknamed the Wee-Strom, is a mid-weight adventure touring motorcycle that Suzuki has made since 2004 and now sells in its third generation, introduced for model year 2017. It is built at Suzuki's final assembly plant in Toyokawa, Japan, and sold in Europe, Oceania, the Americas and, since 2018, India. The engine is a liquid-cooled 90 degree four-stroke V-twin of 645 cc taken from the SV650 sport bike and retuned for more power between 4,000 and 6,500 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, fuel injection and a twin-spar aluminium frame. The name joins V, for the engine layout, to the German word Strom, meaning stream or current. Owners use it for commuting, touring and light off-road riding, and magazine tests praised its all-round ability.
