The Honda XR600R was an off-road dual-sport motorcycle powered by an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine, made by Honda from 1985 to 2000 as part of the XR series. The road-oriented XR650L that is still available is similar, with a larger engine but lower compression and less power. The 591 cc engine has four valves in Honda's radial arrangement, called RFVC, driven by a single camshaft, a dry sump lubrication system, a 9.0:1 compression ratio, a bore and stroke of 97 by 80 mm and a 39 mm piston-valve carburettor. The front suspension is 43 mm cartridge forks with compression and rebound adjustment, the rear a Pro-Link single shock, and there is a five-speed gearbox and a kickstarter.
