Honda XL80S

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The Honda XL80S was a dual-sport motorcycle that Honda made for five years starting in 1980. All models had metal fuel tanks and used the same engine. The XL80S looks like a dirt bike and shares many characteristics with one, but it is street-legal and intended for both on-road and off-road use. As a small-displacement member of the XL line of Honda dual-sports, it was aimed at younger and smaller riders who wanted a machine that could be ridden to a trail and then on it, in the same spirit as the earlier SL70 and SL90 Motosport models and the larger XL175 and XL185.
