The Honda CRF450X is an off-road enduro motorcycle that Honda first offered in 2005, with a 450 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, and it shares very little with the CRF450R motocrosser despite being its enduro version. The first generation of 2005 to 2007 had a wide-ratio transmission, electric start and an 18-inch rear wheel, the second generation of 2008 to 2017 added a steering damper, smaller fuel tank and revised accelerator pump, and the third generation from 2019 was an all-new design with fuel injection and a CRF450R-based motor and chassis. The CRF450X has seen great success in the Baja 1000, with 11 victories and another 5 in the Baja 500, and about 27,000 have sold since October 2018.
