Honda CRF250L

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The Honda CRF250L, model designations MD38 and MD44, is a dual-sport motorcycle in Honda's CRF series, made for a global market and first released in 2012 for the 2013 model year. It combines a high-efficiency fuel-injected DOHC single-cylinder counterbalanced engine and electric starter with a comfortable, neutral seating position, headlight, taillight, turn signals, mirrors and an exhaust that complies with EPA and California rules. The original was an evolution of the CRF230L using a de-tuned version of the CBR250R engine, a redesigned frame and new suspension. For 2017 it gained ABS and Rally versions and 2 more horsepower, and in 2021 it was replaced by the CRF300L, whose engine was changed to comply with Euro 5.
