The Honda CL360 was a twin-cylinder four-stroke scrambler that Honda built from 1974 to 1976 as the successor to the CL350. It was very similar to the CB360, the most obvious differences being the high exhaust pipes that many consider very desirable, a higher rear fender and braced motocross-style handlebars. Its 360 engine was tuned for broad torque and ran through a six-speed gearbox. Despite some improvements it did not win market success in its short life, because of early camshaft faults, handling that many thought poor compared with the CB350, inferior performance and economy to its predecessor and lower performance than two-strokes of similar capacity such as the Yamaha RD350.
