BMW R1300GS

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The BMW R1300GS is an adventure touring motorcycle announced by BMW Motorrad for the 2024 model year, following the R1250GS. The engine and transmission were redesigned, as was the frame, which eliminates the full trellis frame of the earlier model. Both changes contributed to a weight of 237 kg, 12 kg lighter than the previous model, and the asymmetrical headlights of earlier generations of the GS series were eliminated. The Oslo Police District began operating the R1300GS in its service in the summer of 2024.
