BMW F900GS

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The BMW F900GS is a middleweight dual-sport motorcycle produced by BMW Motorrad since 2024. It succeeds the F850GS and represents a major redesign of the parallel-twin adventure platform, with a larger 895 cc engine, reduced weight and upgraded electronics, and it was unveiled in September 2023 ahead of its debut at EICMA 2023 in Milan. It continues the GS tradition of combining light off-road handling with long-distance touring capability. It is 14 kg (31 lb) lighter than its predecessor with a revised steel frame and a narrower aluminium rear subframe; the 895 cc engine, shared with the F900R and F900XR, produces 77 kW (103 hp) and 93 Nm of torque. A plastic tank of 14.5 L sits forward for mass centralisation, suspension travel is 230 mm front and 215 mm rear, and electronics include ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Rain, Road and Enduro Pro modes, optional Dynamic ESA, a 6.5-inch TFT display and an optional quickshifter.
