The Honda Sonic is a 125 cc, later 150 cc underbone motorcycle designed by Honda for the Southeast Asian market, part of the Nova series of sports-oriented underbone motorbikes produced since the mid-1990s. It is fitted with the engine of the European CBR125R and the Indonesian CS1, adapted to liquid cooling because of the hotter weather, and the single-cylinder engine redlines at 10,900 rpm. It uses an overbore design with two bigger valves and a larger Keihin carburettor with a 28 mm venturi, and it comes in RS and RS Super models. The Sonic 150R, launched in Indonesia in August 2015, has a 150 cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-valve single with a six-speed gearbox and styling aimed at teenage riders, and in the Philippines it is called the RS150.
