The Honda CT series was a group of Honda trail bike motorcycles made since 1964 and still produced as of 2026. The CT designation is a slight exception in Honda nomenclature in that it does not indicate a series of mechanically related bikes but a group of different bikes that are all for casual off-road use and, in most models, licensable for street use. A description of the series is necessarily convoluted because it spans several decades in which Honda altered its naming system, re-used issued CT designations, assigned different model names in different markets and sometimes used several names for the same model within a market. The most commonly used nomenclature is the word Trail followed by the engine displacement class, so that several models bore the Trail 90 designation over a 20-year period, which makes it collectively the most popular series.
