The XL700V Transalp came in 2007 with a new 680 cc engine, also used in the NT700V Deauville, which met Euro 3 emission standards. The front wheel went from 21 inches to 19 inches in diameter, the exhaust gained a catalytic converter, the lights were redesigned and ABS was introduced. The 2008 model strengthened the road character of the Transalp, with bigger tyres, a lower saddle and shock absorbers aimed more at the road. Each model year has its own page.
