A larger model with the 100 cc HA05E engine came in 1986 for Asian markets, developed only for Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, where underbones were very popular. A telescopic front suspension replaced the older leading link design and a four speed transmission replaced the three speed. It was initially known as the Honda Dream in Thailand and the Honda EX5 High Power in Malaysia.
