The C50 appeared in 1966 and stayed in production until the mid 1980s, and it became among the most widely known Super Cub versions. Honda replaced the C100's 50 cc pushrod engine with the 39 mm by 41.4 mm alloy head overhead camshaft unit from the CS50 and C65, which lifted power from 3.4 kW to 3.6 kW. The CM90 was replaced in 1966 by the 89.5 cc overhead camshaft CM91 of 5.6 kW. Neighbouring model years are linked from this page.
