1983 Honda Shadow

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The VT500C and VT750C Shadow were introduced in 1983, with the VT750C debuting in late 1982 for North American markets and a nearly identical NV750 Custom launched in Japan. The VT750C had advanced technology including three-valve two-plug combustion chambers, a vibration-canceling offset dual-pin crankshaft and hydraulic valve adjusters. The VT750C Shadow was offered for only one model year in the US, 1983, in Black or Candy Wineberry Red. The 500cc VT500C of 1983 featured chrome side covers and black engine covers.
