Honda changed the frame and look of the VT700C and of the Canadian and Japanese 750 models for 1986: a lower seat, a longer wheelbase, more rake and trail, a single front disk in place of dual disks and five spoke cast wheels in place of ten spoke ones. Japan's NV750C was renamed Honda Shadow with a rod linkage for the rear brake. The VT500C was almost the same as the 1985 model. Neighbouring model years are linked from this page.
