1989 Honda NSR250R

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The 1989 NSR250R MC18 came as the R5k and the SP R6k, with the PGM-II ignition system and a straight swing-arm that used a rear brake arm, so no lug. The R6k SP had the same engine as the R5k but with a dry multi-plate clutch and upgraded suspension with rebound damping adjustment at the front and rebound and compression damping adjustment at the rear. This page belongs to the Honda NSR250R (MC18), 1988 to 1989 model years; the generation page and the Honda NSR250R model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
