The NC700 series entered production in 2012. Honda has made the NC700D Integra, a hybrid of motorcycle and scooter with a dual clutch, since 2012, and Cycle World picked the NC700X as its Best Standard Motorcycle for 2012. The series uses a 670 cc single overhead camshaft parallel twin tilted 62 degrees forward, with a 270 degree crank designed to give a pleasant throbbing feel of a V-twin, programmed fuel injection and a six-speed manual gearbox or dual-clutch transmission.
