Honda sold the Motocompo from 1981 only in Japan and only as a factory add-on, introduced as a trunk bike to fit inside subcompact cars such as the Today and the then new City, which had a baggage compartment developed specifically around it. It was the smallest scooter ever produced by Honda, and was inspired by the Second World War era British Welbike folding motorcycle. The sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 1981 model year, so this page claims none.
