On 14 September 2023 Honda announced the Motocompacto, which succeeds the Motocompo as a scooter powered wholly by electricity, for release in November 2023 at a suggested retail price of 995 dollars, through Honda and Acura dealerships. Honda dropped the Motocompo in 1983 but has since come back to the idea in several concept vehicles, among them the e-Dax and e-NSR of 2001 and the Motor Compo electric scooter of 2011. Each model year has its own page.
